Revelation 16 discusses many things that occur after the Mark of the Beast. We know this is after the Mark of the Beast of Revelation 13, because it explicitly states:

Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, “Go and pour out the seven bowls of God’s wrath on the earth.” 2 The first went and poured out his bowl on the earth, and severely painful sores broke out on the people who had the mark of the beast and who worshipped its image.

Revelation 16:1-2

With this in mind, it is clear to me that this is a highly non-literal chapter. Why? Two main clues: (a) the bowls/vials are not literal bowls of wrath, and (b) because Jesus says in v.15 that he is coming like a thief and thieves do not announce their comings in obvious ways.

“Look, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the one who is alert and remains clothed so that he may not go around naked and people see his shame.”

Revelation 16:15

Therefore the signs of Revelation 16 are subtle, and not obvious, unless one is looking.

³⁹ But know this: If the home-owner had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have let his house be broken into.

Luke 12:39

³ Remember, then, what you have received and heard; keep it, and repent. If you are not alert, I will come like a thief, and you have no idea at what hour I will come upon you.

Revelation 3

So let’s take a look at the fulfilment of Revelation 16, in a non-literal sense.

1st Bowl – illnesses break out

We are starting with the premise that the COVID vax was the pharmaceutical deception and was the Mark of the Beast. Pages elsewhere on this site go into great detail about this. Other pages are devoted to explaining how worship in this context is not like Church worship.

Revelation 16:2 mentions the pharmaceutical deception, albeit one has to think about the practicalities of the world to realise this. Whether the Mark was a pharmaceutical deception is not 100% certain, however it is certain that the Beast is not likely to admit that these “sores” are the result of the Mark. As a result, it will be known, and possibly widespread rumour or belief, but unlikely to be acknowledged officially. This deception becomes a pharmaceutical deception by itself.

Revelation 16:2 “The first angel went and poured out his bowl on the land, and ugly, festering sores broke out on the people who had the mark of the beast and worshipped its image.”

Not even literalists that I know, think is a literal bowl (or vial depending on translation), but many take the rest literally. What is not explained is whether the “sores” (a) happen immediately after they receive the mark of the beast, or whether it happens months or years later; (b) are supernatural or natural adverse reactions to the mark; and (c) fall on everyone who takes the mark, or just some, and does it manifest on everyone in the same way or extent?

Poor translation coupled with literalism is terrible

NIV renders it as “ugly, festering sores”.
NKJV “foul and loathsome sores”
RSV “foul and evil sores”
Young’s Literal Translation “sores – bad and grievous”
NASB “loathsome and malignant”
The Message “loathsome stinking sores erupted”
ESV “harmful and painful sores”

Which literalist among us will stake their reputation on which will happen? Perhaps we need a closer look.

There are two adjectives describing these sores:

“kakos” which means everything from evil to troublesome¹.

‘ponēros’ means annoying, or evil, wicked².

There is nothing in the Greek mentioning stinking, painful, harmful, malignant, ugly, foul, or loathsome.

So what of “sores” itself?

‘Sores/ulcers’ (helkos)³ while often meaning a wound with pus, actually includes anything, including ulcers and cancer or even automimmune conditions. Scripture does not specify the nature of the “sores”, and we should assume the sores can manifest in a variety of ways, with differing degrees of intensity, and does not necessarily afflict everyone.

Don’t bet your soul on a literal take of a bad translation.

What impact will this have on society and the economy? It will produce a severe economic drag. Revelation 18:23 speaks of the economic impact that the pharmaceutical deception has on the Whore and rest of the world

I’m inclined to believe that many of the bowls of wrath are related to the Mark of the Beast, and will proceed with this assumption.

2nd Bowl – blood clots

³ The second poured out his bowl into the sea. It turned to blood like that of a dead person, and all life in the sea died.

Revelation 16

This is reminiscent of the plague that struck Egypt, when Moses turned the Nile to blood and all the fish died. However, remember the bowl is not a literal bowl. Remember, that Jesus is coming without a major announcement (Rev 16:15). Thus, it is highly unlikely to be a literal sea, or all life.

For the literalist: does it refer to all the oceans, or just a specific sea? If the sea turns to blood, wouldn’t it be a very obvious sign, and therefore hard for Jesus to say he was coming like a thief?

If literal, it would be a very obvious sign of Christ’s imminent return. But it would be utterly catastrophic for the world. We will proceed on the basis it is non-literal because it if is literal it can’t be missed, and if it is non-literal, it may be missed without careful attention.

The next question that comes to mind is that John is specific saying that it appears to have the qualities like that of a dead person – this vax may kill people. John does not specify the qualities of the blood. Within 0.5-1 hours of death, large blood clots form. It separates into “blood” and “water” (think back to Jesus on the cross – “blood” and “water” came out when pierced by a spear). Depending on a range of factors, blood loses its deep red and can become bluish (cells are still using oxygen at this time). After many hours, the blood “settles” to the lower extremities.

I am doubtful, that John was saying the sea turned bluish, or even putrid in later stages of decay. John is more likely to be referring to commonly observed events, as the decay and purification process is altogether hidden from most observers due to burial.

In the Bible, the sea and waters are frequently symbolic references to people:

Isa 57:20 – The wicked are like the tossing sea.

Isa 17:12 – Alas, the uproar of many peoples, Who roar like the roaring of the seas, And the rumbling of nations, Who rush on like the rumbling of mighty waters!

Isa 48:18 – “If only you had paid attention to My commandments! Then your well-being would have been like a river, And your righteousness like the waves of the sea.

Revelation 17:15 – “The waters you saw, where the prostitute was seated, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and languages….”

The 2nd Bowl of wrath is poured out on people.

Blood clots will be common, and people will die.

3rd Bowl – illnesses in children

The 3rd bowl talks about this blood affecting rivers and springs, representing children and infants, possibly even unborn children. Infertility, miscarriages may increase as a result of this mark of the beast. Scripture occasionally refers to nations as streams, and if this is meant here, it means that reaches all nations.

These judgements are because people have persecuted his saints. (v.6)

4th Bowl – illnesses blamed on climate

The 4th bowl, it is incredibly doubtful that the sun actually burns people with fire. It is more likely a rise cancers or a blame in certain diseases on the climate.

For example:

5th Bowl – degeneracy explodes

The 5th bowl, the bowl is poured out on the beast. It is unclear which beast this refers to. Since the Sea Beast has lost its power (fatal wound that was healed), it is more likely to be the Earth Beast (UN and nations of the world) or the Image Beast (mainstream media).

¹⁰ The fifth poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness. People gnawed their tongues because of their pain ¹¹ and blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, but they did not repent of their works.

Revelation 16

A reminder again, if this is literal, great, an obvious sign of the nearness of Christ. If, however, Jesus is coming without a great sign, this is likely to be non-literal.

Darkness, is often a metaphor for sin, chaos, a “giving over” to work sin or evil, or possibly loss of power. One possible, albeit unlikely, is the massive switch to “green” power, removing base load power. Or if oil producing nations stop exporting oil.

In my view, it is that God has removed his light, and people loved darkness, because their deeds are evil (John 3:19). In my view, there will be an explosion of in-your-face sin.

²³ But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. So if the light within you is darkness, how deep is that darkness!

Matthew 6

⁵³ Every day while I was with you in the temple, you never laid a hand on me. But this is your hour —and the dominion of darkness.”

Luke 22

12 The night is nearly over, and the day is near; so let us discard the deeds of darkness and put on the armour of light.

Romans 13

Romans 1 speaks of God giving people over to a darkened, depraved mind.

²¹ For though they knew God, they did not glorify him as God or show gratitude. Instead, their thinking became worthless, and their senseless hearts were darkened….²⁴ Therefore God delivered them over in the desires of their hearts to sexual impurity, so that their bodies were degraded among themselves.

Romans 1

At this point in time, Trans surgery, is a highly contested topic. The pain and abuse these people suffer to get surgery, and then suffer doubly because of the after affects of their surgery. These people blame God (not necessarily literally) for being born in the wrong body. And they are mostly unrepentant.

Unfortunately for the people caught in this, many churches and Christians will support these sins.

Romans 2

Flee such “Christians”.

6th Bowl – Alliance of the Middle East with China, and a battle in Ukraine

The 6th bowl describes the drying up (probably literal) of the Euphrates river to make way for the kings of the east. It does not say whether they attack Israel or not. The Sea Beast is described as scalet in chapter 17, but not in Chapter 13. Since the fatal wound, it has attracted the alliance or influence of China, who gives it its colour.

I have written extensively on “Harmageddon” elsewhere, but I will give a very brief summary here.

“Harmageddon” is given in Hebrew, rather than the tongue of the local language, because it is likely it is named or claimed by Jews. The Bible does not hesitate to call cities and nations by their names, so it likely didn’t have a name.

“Harmageddon” means “Mount of the Congregation”. The only other occurrence of this term, is in Isaiah 14:13 where Satan says he will dwell on the “Mount of the Congregation” in the “remotest parts of the north” which we know from Ezekiel 38 & 39 is the area of modern-day Ukraine.

Ukraine, thanks to the Ashkenaz and Khazars, built what is described as the “cradle of western Jewry”. Hasidic Judaism has its home in Ukraine, and more than 20% of Israel’s Jews consider Ukraine home.

Importantly, the planned outcome of this war in Ukraine is the emergence of “Big Israel”. This is not secret and throughout 2022 was reported in major newspapers. The Ukraine war is a massive deception to fund its creation.

7th Bowl – economic destruction of the USA

The 7th bowl describes a great earthquake that splits Babylon into 3 parts. Other nations fall as a result of the earthquake. Babylon is remembered and God gives her the cup of his anger. Islands flee and mountains disappear, large hailstones (about 50kg).

This is the economic collapse of the Whore, which I have written about elsewhere.
