This is the antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son.

1 John 2:22

The Dome of the Rock is seated on the temple of God. Mohammad, who taught his followers how to break every commandment of God, is the man of lawlessness. He claimed to ascend to heaven on this very spot, to lead the patriarchs and Jesus in prayer to Allah. His sayings have been inscribed into the Dome of the Rock, where he declares that Allah is above all, and that himself is above all others, especially Jesus. Islam teaches that Mohammad is the perfect man and that Allah speaks through Mohammad alone and empowered Mohammad to spread terror¹.

Paul writes in his second letter to the church in Thessalonica about the rapture, and that it will not happen until after…

³…the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, ⁴ who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in [ed…or on²]the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.

When a Muslim says that God has no associate, it is denying the Trinity, it is specifically denying a Son, but also the Holy Spirit. Allah is sovereign, not Yahweh and not Jesus. Mohammad is a prophet and is more loved than Jesus.
O ye who believe! Ask blessings on him and salute him with a worthy salutation. The blessing of Allah be on him and peace be on him, and may Allah have mercy. O People of the Book! Do not exaggerate in your religion nor utter aught concerning Allah save the truth. The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was only a Messenger of Allah, and His Word which He conveyed unto Mary, and a spirit from Him. So believe in God and His messengers, and say not ‘Three’ – Cease! (it is) better for you! – Allah is only One God. Far be it removed from His transcendent majesty that He should have a son. His is all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And Allah is sufficient as Defender. The Messiah will never scorn to be a servant unto Allah, nor will the favoured angels. Whoso scorneth His service and is proud, all such will He assemble unto Him.	This is addressed to Christians (People of the Book). They are warned against saying that God is a Trinity and against saying that Jesus is the Son of God, as Jesus was only a messenger. It is demeaning God to say he has a Son. Jesus is not sufficient as a defender, only Allah is.
Oh Allah, bless Your Messenger and Your servant Jesus son of Mary. Peace be on him the day he was born, and the day he dies, and the day he shall be raised alive! Such was Jesus, son of Mary, (this is) a statement of the truth concerning which they doubt. It befitteth not (the Majesty of) Allah that He should take unto Himself a son. Glory be to Him!	Jesus is a messenger only and not the Son of God. It is degrading God to say he has a Son.
When He decreeth a thing, He saith unto it only: Be! and it is.Lo! Allah is my Lord and your Lord. So serve Him. That is the right path. Allah (Himself) is witness that there is no god save Him. And the angels and the men of learning (too are witness). Maintaining His creation in justice, there is no god save Him, the Almighty, the Wise.	Allah is God alone, not Yahweh and not Jesus.
Lo! religion with Allah (is) Islam. Those who (formerly) received the Book differed only after knowledge came unto them, through transgression among themselves. Whoso disbelieveth the revelations of Allah (will find that) Lo! Allah is swift at reckoning!	Christians (People of the Book) are deceived by themselves through error introduced by them. If they disbelieve Allah’s revelations (esp. that Mohammad is the greatest prophet and perfect man) will be judged.

In this first phrase on the exterior of the Dome of the Rock, the inscription declares that Allah is God, not Yahweh, and that God is not a Trinity and that God does not have a son. Mohammad is the prophet to listen to.

Muḥammad is the Messenger of Allah, the blessing of Allah be on him and the angels and His prophets, and peace be on him, and may God have mercy.	God does not have a son. Mohammad is the messenger of God.
In the name of Allah, the Merciful the Compassionate. There is no god but Allah. He is One. He has no associate. Unto Him belongeth sovereignty and unto Him belongeth praise. He quickeneth. Mohammad is the messenger of Allah. Mohammad will provide intercession on the judgement.

Allah is merciful and compassionate. Allah is God, not Yahweh. God is not a Trinity and has no Son. Mohammad is the messenger of Allah.
The dome was built by servant of Allah ʿAbd [Allah the Imam al-Ma’mun, Commander] of the Faithful, in the year two and seventy. May Allah accept from him and be content with him. Amen, Lord of the worlds, praise be to Allah.	The year 270AH (after Hijrah) corresponds to the Julian calendar AD.691/692

Summary

The Dome of the Rock fits perfectly with the Abomination of Desolation, as Jews abandoned/fled the land for 1260 years after the start of construction in AD.688. It fits perfectly with antichrist beliefs denying the Father and the Son, and it meets Paul’s statements regarding the man of lawlessness standing on the temple declaring himself to be above everything that is worshipped.

Islam explicitly denies the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit and the atonement, on the temple site, declaring instead that Allah alone is God, and Mohammad is the favoured messenger of Allah, not Jesus.

There is no statement or belief that could be more antichrist than what is inscribed on the Dome of the Rock.

For those who argue that the Antichrist is still future, I pose the following challenge: where is the antichrist mentioned in Revelation?
