The book of Revelation is a fascinating book with many twists & turns. It is not a linear book, it jumps from perspective to perspective, often recasting imagery already given with more detail.
It starts with a promise: Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy…
It ends with a warning: If anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book.
